Guys we must discuss about some topic. Maybe...what do U think about English language using
by Polish players in MMORPG''s and online games?

I think is a good way to repeat some English words, but it isn''t good way to learn it. I never saw the man who can talk with the other person after he played MMO. In MMO there are same sentences and it lead to nothing in case like
family from other countries. Sorry, i went from subject...
But what i think about language?
There isn''t language, only words like hi, bye, or some sentences reiterate.

Language in MMO is almost always terrible, no one cares about grammar rules. But I can talk using proper English on guild chat where nice people are:) In MMO 2moons. I invite to topic about it.

In MMO''s you don''t need sophisticated vocabulary or grammar rules- people just communicate with simple words, or some universal phrases known to all players (for instance noob :P). It''s good as far, as you remember to "switch" your english when you write an e-mail, or talk i real :D

Guys, could you look here http://forum.gram.pl/forum_post.asp?tid=7692#u_220 and solve our
small problem? :P I mean, which form is correct - "talk to" or "talk with"?

Kowboy3 is right. Both forms are good but as he said we learn British English so much more correct is to use "talk to sb"

We can see the same thing in Polish. Words like ''cze'' or ''dozo'', ''wporzo'' are used in short messages to make them shorter. BTW (yesss ;)), I really hate it (I mean ''cze''..).

We can see the same thing in Polish. Words like ''cze'' or ''dozo'', ''wporzo'' are used in
short messages to make them even shorter. BTW (yesss ;)), I really hate it (I mean ''cze''..).

Well, yes, I agree, we have some sort of slang in mmo''s as well as in real life- but it''s social, complex matter- in real life people create their own words to underline their identity, difference from other. In games we create new words for /utilitarian/ purposes- it''s easier to communicate this way. So reasons to create new words in games and in life are different...
